*The difference between a bikini wax and a deep bikini wax: A bikini wax removes the hair on the sides that would most likely poke out of your underwear. We remove a small portion of hair from the top of the bikini line if the clients wishes. A deep bikini wax goes in a little farther on each side and a greater portion of hair is taken from the top of the bikini line. If you would like the lips, inner labia and the hair between the cheeks removed, we suggest you schedule a Brazilian wax.

**Preparing for a Brazilian Wax:
A Brazilian wax is the removing of all the hair in the bikini region. The client has the option to leave a patch of hair in the front if she chooses. The hair must be between 1/4 of an inch and 1/2 of an inch, or long enough to lie down on the skin. It can't be stubbly or long and puffy. If it is any longer than 1/2 of an inch, please trim the hair. Do not schedule any waxing during your period, after consuming a lot of caffiene, or if you are taking Accutane, an oral medication for acne.

After Waxing: Don't use your shower puff, loofah, or any scrubbing grains for at least 3 days. Avoid self tanners for a week. If you come into contact with direct sunlight, including a tanning booth, use SPF 45.

We use a blue hard wax on parts of the face, underarms and bikini area. We also use a soft creamy wax on brows, legs and arms. The difference is that the blue wax doesn’t use strips to remove it. It is applied slightly thicker and is peeled away. It contains an anti-inflammatory known as Azulene, which will tone down redness. It is great for removing especially course hair and is kinder to the skin. The creamy wax is applied over larger areas and is systematically removed with strips.
